Led by expert guides dressed in authentic Viking attire, you’ll embark on a captivating journey back in time. Discover the fascinating stories of Viking religion, laws, and daily life, all while hearing the legendary saga of Viking Rollo – the outlaw who became the ancestor of European royalty.

As you walk through the city, we’ll bring the Viking age to life, sharing tales straight from local folklore and Snorri Sturlason’s famous «Heimskringla». With regular stops to fully immerse you in Viking culture, the tour culminates at the bronze statue of Rollo, where your adventure can continue with a visit to Fjellstua or explore more of Ålesund’s beauty.

Highlights of the tour:

Experience the Viking life with an hands-on experience onboard a real Viking ship. The guests will step into the past as they climb aboard this iconic vessel, located right in the heart of Ålesund, in the middle of the charming Brosundet channel.

• Dryed fish
• Traditional dried meat (lamb)
• Flat bread
• For drinks we serve a taste of:
• Home-brew ale - Viking beer
